Meet Colin
Colin Van Soelen is a Canadian woodworker based out of the Niagara Region. From his shop in Lincoln he creates custom furniture and keepsakes, from Muskoka chairs to personalized home goods, so there is something special for everyone who wants that homemade touch right in their humble abode.
Most of what he makes is a one-off. A slab somebody picked out themselves, a table cut to fit a room with awkward dimensions, a set of tumblers engraved for a wedding party. Bring him a photo or a rough sketch and he will work out the rest with you.

How a commission works
From a rough idea to a finished piece

Tell Colin the idea
A phone call, a photo off Pinterest, a sketch on the back of an envelope. Whatever you have is enough to start.

Wood, size, finish
You settle the species, the dimensions, and the finish together, and Colin quotes the build before anything gets cut.

Built in the shop
One piece at a time, by hand, in Lincoln. Photos along the way if you want them.

Pickup or delivery
Collect it at the shop or arrange delivery around the Niagara Region.
